Overview: The Beer Store (TBS) is a privately-held company owned by Molson Coors, Labatt's and Sleeman breweries that is responsible for selling imported and domestic beer at its 436 retail stores for home comsumption. Its retail stores are authorized to sell by the AGCO under the Liquor Control Act. The Beer Store also sells and delivers domestic beer to the LCBO for sale in its "combo stores" in small packages plus domestic and imported beer to liquor sales licensees such as bars and restaurants. (Micro-breweries may bypass The Beer Store and sell to liquor sales licensees directly). Licensee delivery comes from one of the five BRI warehouses located across Ontario by its fleet of truchks.
Service On Tap Serving Bars and Restaurants TBS introduced a new on-line ordering system for licensed establishments in 2010. TBS has expanded ordering options for licensees to create flexibility in service schedules. The product line includes;
