Spot the Energy Savings Opportunities
Identify opportunities that can help your company save on energy use and reduce its energy costs. The Spot the Energy Savings Opportunities workshop
will help you understand energy basics and how to identify the up-front savings opportunities.

The best place to begin to look for energy savings opportunities is where the energy is the most expensive - at the point of end use.

For example, did you know that the difference in cost between an energy-efficient motor and a regular motor may be paid for by the incremental change in efficiency? At the Spot the Energy Savings Opportunities workshop, solutions such as this are identified in a checklist of opportunities.

Want to know how to save on fans and pumps, boiler systems and even building envelope systems, and how you can assess the benefits of energy efficiency?

Then the Spot the Energy Savings Opportunities workshop is for you!

Energy Monitoring and Tracking
There has to be a way to reduce costs and improve the bottom line. Set your organization on the road to energy efficiency with the Dollars to $ense: Energy Monitoring and Tracking Workshop.

The last place most organizations look is at their utility costs, because they believe that they are part of the fixed overhead costs. The smart organization will look at reducing utility costs as a way to improve the bottom line. But where to begin? By developing a monitoring and tracking system.

Monitoring and tracking systems lead in helping Canadian companies and institutions save money on energy costs. Energy savings of 5-15 percent have been achieved by a diverse group of organizations in the industrial, commercial and institutional sectors that have implemented them. Once in place, the system should cost no more than 5 percent of the energy savings realized by an organization.

Energy Master Plan
The more you know, the more you save. You know there are opportunities to save money, and you know that the faster you act on them, the faster you start saving.

Knowing what to do and where to find help is the hard part.

The Office of Energy Efficiency has a workshop that pulls it all together for you. Learn from the energy leaders. Our experience has helped over 1,300 organizations.

We'll show you how to get support and identify cost-saving opportunities in many places you might not have considered.
