Participate in New Dine Ontario Campaign

Restaurants Canada is partnering with the Ministry of Agriculture, Food & Rural Affairs and the Ministry of Culture, Tourism and Sport to launch a new campaign “DineONT” that will occur during the 25th annual Ontario Agriculture Week (October 1 to 8). The purpose of this new initiative is to encourage consumers to dine in, celebrate the great things that are grown and produced in our province, and promote all the amazing Ontario restaurants that create great flavours and tastes with Ontario products.

This campaign will provide free promotional materials to restaurants that feature an Ontario food special during the week of October 1 to 8, 2023. This could mean a product you already feature or a new seasonal creation for this week.

For those that don’t already carry Ontario products, the Ministry will be providing resources to help locate suppliers that carry Ontario food and beverages. Ministry staff will also be available to support throughout the duration of this promotion. Ontario's climate offers a diverse range of seasonal fruits, vegetables, dairy, and proteins. Chefs can take advantage of this variety to create seasonal menus that showcase the best of what the region has to offer.

For more information on the campaign, please read the letter from the Honorable Lisa Thompson, Minister of Agriculture, Food and Rural Affairs and the Honorable Neil Lumsden, Minister of Culture, Tourism and Sport below.
